There are many companies out there who use racism in their cartoons for the purpose of humor and entertainment, most companies don’t care for what they use or how they use humor in their cartoons as long as it entertains the people and is humorous to them. Not only have they used racism in their cartoons but they have even gone to the point of making humor of other things such as homosexuals or the specially challenged, such as making a character really goofy and stupid. Probably the most commonly known company for cartoons is Warner Bros, with Looney Tunes.
The main character Warner Bros. used for Racist jokes was that lovable yet hilarious rabbit named Bugs Bunny. In some old cartoons he was used to make racist jokes against any possible race just because it was amusing. Not many cartoons were used for racist jokes In Disney films, only they were some recorded few of having been released. Such as A fantasia movie where there was beautiful Blonde girl centaur with a black centaur as a slave and drawn with discriminating features of an African American.
Fox 11 has also been showing some Cartoons that continually discriminate many races, these cartoons were only meant for adult viewing but it has spread out so much to many viewers. Shows such as Family guy have many racist jokes to show and it doesn’t seem to be any problem anymore to be using racist jokes with many companies. Companies of cartoons just don’t care anymore of what they view to children but they don’t realize that as these children begin to watch their cartoons that they're going to take racism as ok if they see Bugs Bunny or some other endearing character doing it.
