A. What body of water does it live in? What part of the world does it live in?

B. At what depth or life zone does it live? At what temperatures does it live?

What amount of light is available for it?

II. APPEARANCE

A. Describe what it looks like: size, color, body shape, body features.

B. Describe how it moves.

III. GETTING FOOD

A. What does it eat?

B. Would it be considered mostly predator or prey?

C. What other organisms compete for it's food source or habitat?

IV. ADAPTATIONS

A. Does it have any special adaptations that help it survive in its environment?

1. Does it have any special adaptations that help it get food, or escape

being eaten ?

2. Does it belong to any special partnerships?

V. REPRODUCTION

A. Describe its reproduction and egg laying.

B. Other - (Do males have any special markings or rituals? Do the females change

sex? Do the mothers lay the eggs?)
