Barry continues to do well in
Moorpark as Community Development Director. He is on the
Moorpark Rotary Board and very involved in working on the
famous Civil War Reenactment and Rotary's annual golf tournament.
He was recently corralled to work on the Boys and Girls Club Annual
Golf Tournament too. With all of the development in Moorpark
its hard to find time to take up golf again, but he's working on it.
He has been able to take some time for reading novels and doing
crossword puzzles. Denise is enjoying her classes at UCLA in the Principal Leadership Institute. She taught at Cal Lutheran University this summer, is working as a edtech consultant in some school districts in Bakersfield and Temecula, and is just beginning field work for Oxnard Union High School District. She is also on the planning committee for the National Educational Computing Conference, which will be in San Diego for 06 and is expecting 17,000 participants! Additionally, she and a co-AAUW member have started a wine club. Of course she is still involved with her great buddies in the BW Book Club in San Diego, and misses them terribly along with Mom and Dad ("the old folks"). News flash, iPods are the greatest things yet, and the house is nearly decorated!

Travels this year have included a great week in Sandy, Utah to see the Sundance Film Festival at a gracious friend's home. In June we went to Philadelphia (Denise went to NECC 05), and then enjoyed some fun B&Bs and checked out farm country. We took some long weekends in Cambria and then San Francisco with Jon, Heather and Justin. Shortly after Christmas we will be off to North and South Carolina to see what Raliegh, Asheville, Charleston and Willington are like. New Year's Eve will be spent in Charleston Old Towne at the Charleston Grill for some good low country southern cooking.

Jon is taking
his last class at Santa Monica Academy of Entertainment and
Technology to complete his certificate in graphic and web design.
He is also about to complete A+ certification at Moorpark College.
He is working part-time at Auntie Steven's law firm in LA as a
computer tech. He works on his
Syndicate Movies and
website as well.
Heather and Justin, married over three years, are the hippest couple in Midtown Sacramento. She is a Marketing Specialist / Conference Coordinator for Jones and Stokes, and Justin is in a radiology technician program.
Buddy, the Bud, is still with us after nearly 18 years. He's a good old dog. Truly the embodiment of a dog's life!
