Your Web Page

 Report

 
 

You will be placing your report on to a web page so that other people can enjoy and learn from all you have researched.

 
 

Please do the following:

  • Research your topic and create a report in Word.  

  • Find at least 2 powerful web sites that you used for your research or that have great photos, graphics, or interactivity that would help your reader understand your report better.

  • Use Filmentality to post your work online with the links to the outside web resources.  Here's how.

 

Go to Filmentality (http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/) page and click on Start a New Topic to get set up:  

  1. Type in the topic that you are writing about.

  2. For your name, type in your first name only.  Then don't put any other information.

  3. Type in a password that you will REMEMBER and write it down (try the topic name).

  4. Click on Spin this Thing!

Next, click on Add Links.

In this part you will need to add location.  This is the URL of the sites that you want to show (you can navigate to those sites in new windows, and then copy and paste the URLs).  In the box that says title, put the name of the website that you are using.  In the description, tell what this site shows and how it goes with your report (a good paragraph).

Then click on Hotlist 

Here you will add your title and paste in your report.  Don't worry about the categories.  Click on Hotlist a second time to post your links to the PacBell Server!

Record the URL of your page and turn it in to me!
